Policies & Vendors

Vending

Vendors are welcome and must pre-register by June 1st with Miria directly.  Please review below and if the vendor policy works for you, please email miria@summerstar.org directly to register your booth and include the information requested.

Vendor registration and fees are as follows:

  • To register, send email to Miria with store/booth name, size and description of wares
  • Affirm vaccination for Covid19 or negative PCR test for Covid 19 for all your registrants
  • There is no booth size limitation
  • Vending must take place in the market place
  • We ask for 20% consideration fee OR flat $150 fee (vendors choice) requested prior to leaving*
  • There are no hookups and no electricity at this time (think primitive or use solar panels, or SILENT/no noise generators ok)
  • No food/beverages

*If you are vending, we don’t require that you send us a registration fee up front.  We know that you have to get your stock together and that does mean out of pocket expense/overhead etc.  We’re a small/simple gathering and our aim is only to create a village, with market space and a welcoming atmosphere.  Whether you choose the consideration fee of 20%,  which we will collect at end of gathering (or before you leave), OR the flat rate of $150, both options include a total of 3 guest passes (1 adult +2) for the weekend.  Vendors may decide at the end of the retreat how they wish to settle- it’s an honor system and we hope this makes things easier for you.  Questions/Registration handled by Miria.

The Pet Policy:

We encourage you to leave your pets at home, but if you need to bring them, please email Miria for approval.  Your pet must not be vicious and cannot show any signs of territorial behavior towards other animals, or people, this includes barking, growling, hissing, howling, whining loudly, etc.  Please don’t assume “it will be ok” and “ask for forgiveness”.  If your pet shows these signs when you arrive, this may prove to be a very uncomfortable situation for you.

Please be realistic about your pets ability to socialize:  growling and incessant barking are considered scary and a nuisance & is an irritant.

This means if your dog/pet (or… ) behaves like this – please DO NOT bring your animal —  because we are comfortable with letting you know if we think your pet is a problem during the retreat. The owner is responsible for their pets waste and any other similar waste present.
