Happy Samhain (Oct 2011) Yes, I know it's early, very early, but we wanted to get a jump start on our planning! Do you have ideas for celebrating 20 Summerstars? Were you at our 1st gathering back in 1993? our 10th? What was your best and most profound eperience? Please Share! Follow this link Work-exchange for details. We have several positions open where you can receive additional money off your site fee (even if you are coming in at tribe rates). This is ideal for those tribe members who are having financial issues, but still want to attend this year.
October 23rd DATES ARE IN! For those early planners, the dates are set for next year's retreat. Watch this page, or join us on Twitter/Facebook for all updates. Workshops!!! If you know you are going to attend and want to offer a workshop, facilitate a round table discussion, or offer a lecture, please send us your topic, a brief description and your top 3 preferred times to present. MERCHANT POLICIES - registration is now closed ALL INFO CAN BE FOUND HERE: Vendors Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations must be snail mailed to the Summerstar PO box and must indicate the names as registered. If postmarked on or before May 30 there will be a refund of 100%. Cancellations postmarked between June 1st and June 20th will be refunded 50%. Cancellations postmarked or notice received after June 20th cannot be refunded, however substitutions can be made for adults only. If you are substituting, you must provide the person coming in your place with a note signed by you for all substitutions. We'll make the corrections upon check-in (feel free to email this information, however final confirmation will be the information you provide the person(s) coming in your place). Work Exchange: Feeling financially challenged this year, or you know of a tribe member who's in a tough situation, but wants to make it to Summerstar? No worries checkout the options on the work exchange page. Work Exchange must be pre-negotiated and confirmed directly with Miria. There are no exceptions. The Pet Policy: We encourage you to leave your pets at home, but if you need to bring them, please email Miria for specifics. • Your pet must not be vicious, cannot not show any signs of territorial behavior towards other animals, or people. • The owner is responsible for their pets waste and any other waste present.
